What is PACFile?

PACFile is a function of the UJS Web Portal that provides a means of accessing court cases electronically through a safe and secure utility. This comprehensive system is an exciting addition to the Pennsylvania Courts, providing the freedom to access information, documents, and submit new filings at any time, day or night, from virtually any place where there is access to an internet-ready computer.

The Convenience of Filing Electronically

The ability to file electronically is an innovative and central component of PACFile that reduces the document submission process to a handful of mouse clicks. Its intuitive user-interface makes it possible to submit documents directly to the filing office, perform document service, and pay filing fees in a straightforward way. This paperless submission option also offers the convenient byproduct of eliminating the time and cost of producing paper copies, mailing documents, and paying the postage fees associated with standard filing methods.

More than just a Filing System

Its integration with court office systems provides the ability to place case information directly at your fingertips. Documents submitted on your cases can be viewed at your convenience and near real-time e-mail notifications let you know when new filings are submitted on your cases by opposing counsel or the court. Case histories are also available, expanding as each progresses through the court system, which provide access to docket sheets, dispositional orders, and the electronic documents filed on any related court cases.

Who can use PACFile?
