GTS Case screen
Beyond the ability to file on new and existing cases, the GTS has additional features designed to help you view information and manage your cases throughout their life cycle. You can find these details in the GTS Case screen by clicking the View Case Details icon for any case appearing in the Active Cases section of your Dashboard. The following information is available from this screen:
General Information
This tab displays the following case-related information:

Judicial Authority - The name of the judge or other authority that is overseeing the guardianship case.

Requested Guardianship Domains - Represents the extent of the guardianship requested by the individual(s) who filed the petition for incapacity. The petitioner can request a guardian be designated for the person and/or the estate and whether that responsibility should be limited or plenary (full). This may differ from the ordered domain(s).

Ordered Guardianship Domains - Represents the extent of the guardianship as ordered by the judicial authority in the final decree of incapacity. The judge can designate one or more guardians of the person and/or estate and define their responsibility as limited or plenary (full). This may differ from the requested domain(s) on the petition.
Incapacitated Person
This tab displays some basic biographical information about the IP. The following elaborates on some of the information shown:

The names and addresses are maintained by the court. If either is incorrect, contact the court where the case is filed.

The Representatives grid includes the name of the attorney(s), if any, that is representing the IP.

In the Person Info grid, an IFP Status only displays if an in forma pauperis (in the manner of the pauper) petition has been filed on behalf of the IP. If granted, an IFP designation means that court has excused the IP/guardian from paying court costs because of a lack of financial resources.
Case Actions
This tab lists the milestone events on a guardianship and when they occurred. This includes, among other things, the petition of incapacity, the court's final decree, and any reports submitted by the guardian.
Any reports that were filed electronically or any paper copies that were scanned by the court are uniquely identified by the existence of the Document icon followed by a link that opens the document. A PDF reader is required to view these documents.
Guardians
This tab displays some basic biographical information about the court-appointed guardians on the case. The following elaborates on some of the information shown:

The Name and Address are maintained by the court. If either is incorrect, contact the court where the case is filed.

Represented By is the name of the attorney, if any, that is representing the guardian.
Other Case Participants
This tab displays some basic biographical information about any other individual, excluding attorneys, that are actively participating on the case and/or specifically named in the order of incapacity. Individuals in the following roles will display in this tab:

Petitioner - A person or legal entity that initiated the guardianship case by filing a petition for adjudication of incapacity.

Interested Party - A person or entity who has a recognizable stake in the outcome of a matter before a court, but may not be directly involved in the litigation process. In GTS, an interested party on a case is entitled to receive notifications related to the filing of guardianship reports.

Care Facility - A representative of the care facility that is providing assistance to the incapacitated person (IP).

Examiner - Identifies a medical or psychological professional.

Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) - A person appointed by a court to represent the interests of an incapacitated person involved in legal proceedings.
Attorneys
This tab displays some basic biographical information about any attorney associated with the case and identifies who they are representing.
Reports
This lists the various reports that are pending or have been completed for the corresponding incapacitated person (IP). For guardians, this is also the location where:

An unsubmitted report can be created or edited.

A previously submitted report can be viewed.

An amended report can be initiated for any previously submitted and accepted report.
Bond
A type of fiduciary bond, sometimes called a surety bond, is ordered by some courts as a way to ensure the proper performance of the guardian's duties. Bonds are often required for individuals named as a guardian of the estate and provides a way to protect the incapacitated person's assets or property against financial wrongdoing.
When a bond is ordered by the court, the amount required displays in this tab. When the guardian has posted the bond, the following will also display:

The amount secured (this can be greater than or equal to the required amount).

The effective period of the bond.

The insurance company or carrier that issued the bond.
